Catalina Geo Gel Eyeliner Review.
Hello everyone~! Here’s another detailed review on the Catalina Geo Gel Eyeliner that Korea Cosmetics have sent me last month.

PACKAGING:

Most Gel liners in Korea comes in this kind of packaging which comes in a small jar with the brush applicator attached to it. Saw this similiar with the Gel liners from Lioele, The Skin Shop, Nature Republic and Tony Moly. (Click the links to see the product photos/reviews). It’s a little bulky but it is still better than having a separate brush, right?

The box includes the brief product description and the instructions on how to use the gel liner properly. And as you can see, the product itself has 4g.

It also displays the ingredients of the gel liner and all I can say is I’m loving the ingredients~! No Parabens and it has a lot of herbal extracts which assures you that it is safe for your eyes and good for your skin as well~ <3 Tourmaline is also a good antibacterial agent..>_<
APPLICATOR:

So you’ll just pull of the top for the brush.

The brush is made of synthetic fiber, I believe. The bristles are really soft so it does not prick the skin like other brushes do. Its flat shape though is making it hard to draw thinner lines. If you want to create a thinner and finer line, I suggest you use a smaller brush.
SWATCHES:

The shade I have is #1 Smoky Black.

The color’s deep black, it does not have any brown/blue touch to it. Just pure and deep black perfect for a smoky eyemake~!! <3

As you can see, most of the lines I made are thick. I used the applicator included and I kinda find it hard to draw finer lines. The last line on the right is the thinnest I could get with the brush applicator~ <3 It’s okay for me though because I am always after thick eyeliners, I am obsessed with them! HAHAHA~
WATERPROOF TEST:
This Gel Eyeliner claims to be waterproof so let’s put it to a test. <3

I put it under running water and as you can see, there’s NO runny black thing going on there. It just the same, like how it was before I put water on it. The color is still the same and it didn’t lighten even just a bit.
Waterproof Test Score: 5/5
SMUDGEPROOF TEST:
There are eyeliners that does not fade with water but fades when you smudge it. Like when your eyes itched and you tried to touch your lids, some eyeliners just go off. Now, let’s put Catalina Geo Gel Eyeliner to a test.

The color kind of faded though it was not totally erased. Please note that I smudged it 3 times~. The thinnest line I created was almost gone. kkk~ The gel liner is not 100% smudgeproof though I still think it is long lasting because of its thick texture.
Smudgeproof Test Score: 3.5/5
HOW TO REMOVE IT:
Waterproof cosmetics are really hard to remove right? But there’s nothing an Oil Cleanser can’t erase! hehehe~

I haven’t wiped it with cotton yet so the lines are still visible~ <3 This also shows that even if you have oily lids, the gel liner will still last and it won’t go messy on your eyes.
WHEN WORN:

Hihihihi~the hearts to cover the eye wrinkle. HAHA~ >_< The eyeliner is completely matte by the way. It’s easy to apply to and I like eyeliners like that! You know, because there are some waterproof gel eyeliners that is so hard to apply! Hmp. Like Etude’s Code B. Had it and used it for less than a month! T____T Whew.
Okay so, my rank for this Gel liner is 5/5~! I love it and I use it everyday~! It’s really long lasting and it does not transfer on my lids!

An eyeliner Know-How is next! See ya!
