BB Cream Blind Test! + LUVIEW Mega Giveaway Update.
I’m back everyone! >_< So yeah, how’s everything? Today, I am very much excited to post my first ever Product Blind Test made possible by WISHTREND. My Korean friend Ji Yeon told me about the website and so when I was browsing through the site and the fan site, the blind test offer just simply caught my eyes.

So what’s a BLIND TEST? And how does it work?
WISHTREND sent me 5 BB cream samples. All of them are in ordinary small containers which does not state the brand. So yes, I don’t have any idea of the brand so I have to test them well to check what’s the best and what’s the worst.
The items look like this:
Small containers, and they are labeled with letters. That’s it! Sooooo exciting!!! I got really really excited so I applied for this blind test thingy. I’m super excited to find out what brands are these! WISHTREND said that these BB creams are the ones which are made in Korea and are very famous in many countries. Hmmm, so it’s really that intriguing! ~~(♥3♥)~~
Each and every one of them has different shades and consistencies. Some are liquid and some are too creamy. The scent varies a lot too..=)

Now let’s go to the real test!! ^^
SWATCHES:
These are the swatches of the 5 BB creams I got. I have blended them lightly.
COLOR
A - Natural Beige, Grayish undertone.
B - Natural~Medium Beige, Yellow undertone.
C - Cool Beige, Pink undertone.
D - Ivory, Yellow undertone.
E - Light Beige, Pink undertone.
TEXTURE:
I blended it more unto my skin to see which has thicker consistency and to know which of them easily blends.
A - Thick consistency, blends well enough.
B - Normal consistency, blends well enough.
C - Thin and smooth consistency, blends very well.
D - Thick and creamy consistency, hard to blend and appears too white.
E - Normal consistency, blends very well.
COVERAGE:
I drew black dots using a pentel pen! hwowowowowo~kkkkk! To make sure that it won’t be removed when I put the BB cream on. (Couldn’t remove it for days, I looked like I have some sort of allergy! hahahahaha~)
I was using natural day light for you too see how well it covers imperfections.
A - Has the best coverage. Covers imperfections well due to its thick consistency.
B - Full coverage. Covers imperfections well, but major ones are still visible.
C - Sheer coverage. Doesn’t cover any imperfections or skin problems.
D - Medium Coverage. Covers only minor imperfections.
E - Sheer coverage. Doesn’t cover any skin flaws.
LONGEVITY/SPF? :
I took this photo with flash too see which is the most and least reflective on cam. In this way, you can find out which BB cream is good for taking photos and which of them lasts long.
A - Most reflective of them all. A little shiny looking on cam. Looks moist and oily.
B - A little reflective on cam, almost not at all. Great staying power and has a semi-matte finish. It doesn’t look cakey or anything like that.
C - Not reflective on cam. Stays matte for like 2~3 hours only.
D - Reflective on camera and leaves a white cast. Stays good for 3~4 hours.
E - A little reflective on cam. Staying power is okay, 4~6 hours approximately.
LEVEL OF SATISFACTION:
I have two favorites among the 5 BB creams I got and my first favorite is:
BB Cream A
I took this photo after I got home from work. I needed to retouch using this BB after 4 hours because it becomes a little oily already, but I love the coverage it gives and it does not feel heavy at all.
My T-zone looked oily and moist, but it’s not something I hate. The BB cream, even though it kinda left my face oily after a couple of hours, did not cake on my face. It stayed smooth and my pores are still very well covered. Though see that blue bubble there with the exclamation mark? hahahahaha~It kinda made my lids so oily that my lids became really shiny..hahaha! Good thing I was not wearing any gel liner or eyeshadow so I could just wipe it off that easy..=)
BB Cream B
I love this too! Love this more than BB Cream A!! kkkkkk~It stayed on my face the entire day considering I walked under the great sun! hahaha~I didn’t do any face retouch, not even a powder. ooooh lalaaaa~(^3^)V
Anyway, I took this photo after a long day of mall hopping and shopping. So everytime I move into another shopping mall, I walk under Mr. Great Sun.
It seems like it has this primer function too. It left my face looking fresh after a long day and it did not leave any signs of caking~^^ Whew, And look at my eye make up! No smudging ne~? No oily lids nor an oily T-zone. ^^ I’m super excited to know what BB cream is this! >_< Though the scent smells familiar, so I’m not sure if I have already tried this BB before! hohohoohoho~kyaaa —-(-3-)—-
Now to the Worst BB Cream in the Group:
My pick for the worst BB among the 5 is~~~~BB Cream D!
Why oh why? First of all, I couldn’t stand how it smells like. It reminds me of my terrible antibiotic medicine back when I was a kid. The scent is too strong to just ignore though I still gave it a try to see if the scent will vanish quickly. Oh well, Andy was wrong. It vanished for like, after 10 minutes! I couldn’t stand it so I washed my face. The shade looks okay on my skin first. I thought it matches my skin tone, but it oxidized really quick that it turned dark/yellow/gray, i don’t know! Oh, and the color changed and it made my face look too far from my neck..kkkkkk~
So yeah, for the rest of the BB creams, C & E, they seem to be the normal or typical BB creams. So there’s nothing very special about it, but it’s good enough for BB cream newbies..=)
