The Skin Shop Magic Science Gel Liner Review.
Hello minna~^^ This post have been in my Drafts folder for quite a long time. I’m sorry! T___T I was terribly busy and I went to fix some stuff up, meaning my plans for something or whatever. Gosh, Am I babbling? sorry. Oh and let me post a review on The Skin Shop’s Magic Science Gel liner which was sent to me a couple of weeks ago. This post is gonna contain more photos, less words.kkkkk~
PACKAGING:

If you guys are my friends in Facebook, then I guess you have seen this photo already. This photo served as my teaser whatever.~kkkkk. Packaging’s quite hot! Hot pink! Truly pretty and it actually gives this “girly” feel rather than the sophisticated type.

Just like all my stuff from The Skin Shop, the box has all the brand’s name inside it. Totally not cheap and yeeesh! It’s pink color is truly catchy~!^^
The Skin Shop is becoming more popular and international. They have branches in many places in the Asia Pacific such as Taiwan, Japan and soon, The Philippines! Weeeeeee~They have announced it on their Facebook fan Page and they will be here before November ends. =) aing! o(>_<)o So since they are being released in many countries already, the instructions and product descriptions on their packaging comes in four (4) different languages too. Remember the IRIS bb cream having three languages? Oh well yeah, these newly released items from The Skin Shop, including the mascara got four! ^^

See what I meant there? The box is definitely international~kkkkk~!
The product itself though reminds me of how Lioele and Tony Moly’s gel liner look like. Quite a good thing since it is such a comfy packaging. I mean the brush is attached to the product itself so you won’t be getting worried about where the heck did your tiny gel liner brush go~In my case, I always lose it!

Yeah, that. ~(◕‿◕✿)~

Pretty Pretty packaging I must say! Really~^^ Ohhh..
BRUSH:

The gel liner’s brush is flat and not pricky. Though it’s not as thin as you think, I find it hard to draw very thin and fine lines with this actually. But since I only do that sometimes, (hahahaha) I mean, I usually draw heavy, dramatic eye lines so this one works well. Not pricky and it does not get deformed whatsoever. ~(^o^)~
PRODUCT SWATCHES:

I tried making a thin line using the brush (see the 3rd line on the right) and as you can see it’s a little hard to make it very fine and clean. On the other hand, I made a thick line and you can see that its black color is absolutely vivid~^^ Perfect for making that “Son Ga-in” or “Park Bom” signature look~

Yes, I’m talking about them~^^ Ga-in of Brown Eyed Girls is the reason why I started wearing heavy liners, it looks too good on her and I was totally inspired! kkkkkk~
And who says Boys with Eyeliners look Gay?! Gosh No!! I think men can wear heavy eyeliners as well for they look soooooooo~hot! kyaaaa~^^

That’s Almighty Key (김기범) from SHINee! And Ki Kwang (이기광) from B2ST! SO handsome Oh my~T__________T
Before I get lost from my review to my KPOP Madness, I’ve made a few tests to see if The Skin Shop’s Magic Science Eyeliner is truly waterproof and long lasting~^^
First off, I tested if it’s smudgeproof. So what I did here was wipe the gel liner swatches with a clean, dry tissue.

Take note please my lovely readers, I wiped it, not pat~(o_o)~kkkkk!

Okay, so the photo explains it right? What I noticed about this Gel liner is that it takes a little while for the gel liner to set. It’s either I use a primer under it (in my case, I use Etude House’s Proof10 Primer) or set it lightly with a matte black eyeshadow (I use VOV Color Song Eyes in New Black). So yeah~So this shows that it’s not as smudgeproof as I thought though the colors are still vivid and really strong as you can see, but yeah~So now, let’s go on the waterproof test. kkkkkkk~ Remember that an eyeliner or mascara being smudgeproof and waterproof are quite different, yeah?~♥♥

Washed it through running water! And yes, it is waterproof. It won’t give you those black tears when you cry or anything likewise~kkkkk! (^o^) The color is still vivid and the color and shape weren’t affected at all.
WHEN WORN:

I love how I can make thick lines with it~It’s easy because the gel liner is quite creamy itself. Creamy, yes. And it makes you draw lines easily without the liner building up tiny particles.

The gel liner is in it’s blackest black~! kkkk~By the way, I took this photo by the time I got home from the shopping mall. No retouches and I was like out for 5 hours.

kkkkkk~
My rating for The Skin Shop’s Magic Science Gel liner would be 4/5 !
I love how vivid and creamy it is. ~(♥o♥)~
Weeeeee~The Skin Shop’s Event for their full makeup set giveaway already ended! So If you’re one of the people who have joined the event, then better keep watching The Skin Shop’s Facebook page for the announcement of winners! Good luck! ♥
Oh and one more thing, I get a lot of questions on where to buy The Skin Shop products. They actually have a website but since most of the stuff there are in Korean, kindly send an email to their Sales Department at cooljunmo75@naver.com.
Thank you! Bye! ^^
