Dolly Wink #2 Sweet Girly Eyelashes Review.
Minna-san~Konnichiwa! Hello Hello again. I had a tiring weekend and it passed by so fast! Errrr~Now it’s Monday again, luckily I don’t have much to do this morning. Well, I dunno, but all I need to do is to edit since this post have been stagnant (haha.yeah, stagnant~(^o^)~) in my drafts. Now, I’m posting this! ^^
I got my Dolly Wink lashes from ArtieStyle and they sell a variety of Japanese beauty brands, that I love! And I think, their stuff from Dolly Wink is way cheaper than the ones being sold here in my country online. Like this Dolly Wink lashes which I can only get for $17.99 (770php), unlike on other sites (that I know), their price range for Dolly Wink lashes ranges from $19~$25. (O_o)

I dunno, it’s not usual but I think it’s because of the Customs. But anyway, I emailed ArtieStyle about it and they responded fast, assuring my parcel has been safely shipped \(~_~)/
Now I wanna review one of the stuff I got just recently, The Dolly Wink Eyelashes in #2 Sweet Girly.
PACKAGING:
These are lashes produced by Tsubasa Masuwaka, the Japanese living barbie doll. hahaha~^^ No wonder why her photo with her embossed ribbon is so big in the packaging~^^
In my opinion, #2 Sweet girly has a distinct design which creates dolly lengths and dramatic volume.
This is how the back of the packaging looks like~^^ All in Japanese! kkkk~Though that white sticker there has all the English details. They have all the English details on ArtieStyle’s website too~^^ It’s super nice that they translated it~
Also, as you can see together with all those Japanese wordings, the price is stated in Japanese yen. So these lashes actually costs ¥1,200 or $16..^^ This is why I think ArtieStyle’s pricing is quite reasonable enough! ^^
Here’s a closer look of the eyelash design. They look to dramatic, don’t they? It truly gives this dollish big eyes I’ve been wanting to have since forever~^^ The lower lashes look fake though, kkkk~but it’s okay, I’m not gonna talk about them in this review anyway~^^ kwaaaanghihihi~
1 pack comes in two (2) pairs. Geeeee~i know, the tablecloth ruins this photo and you can’t see my lashes clearly..hahaha~sorry! But yeah it comes in two pairs plus the Dolly Wink glue~^^
PRODUCT:
The lash strands are made of fine Nylon, so they don’t look too much plastic-ish~kkkkk~^^ They are not shiny when I wore them, not even reflective on camera so I think those are some of the reasons why it’s expensive. Because unlike cheaper lashes, they look too fake and shiny~Oh and the lash band is clear, so If applied properly, the lash band won’t be too obvious even if you just apply think eyeliners~^^
The glue tip is pointed, like the usual ones and the glue itself is not really runny (unlike The Face Shop’s lash adhesive). So this one is not gonna mess up with your lashes~^^ kkkkkkk~
WHEN WORN:
Say Hello to my big pores plus my eyebags (eye maleta, actually)!! hahaha~Please don’t mind them and let’s proceed to those upper lashes. These Dolly Wink lashes are indeed looooooooong~!! and dolly. Hmmm, I like wearing it during events wherein I’ll take lots of photos or at night when I want to make my eyes catchy and dramatic. But I don’t think I’ll wear this on casual days.ヽ(・∀・)ノ,
See how long they are? They can actually touch my bangs~hihihihi~They do blend with my natural lashes though, so they don’t look so fake.
I closed my eyes and took this one with flash. Geee~it’s shiny when viewed like this.kkkkk~But when eyes opened, they don’t.
This one, I took with flash with my eyes opened. And yes, they are not as reflective and plastic looking like the previous photo~^^ kkkkkk~But oh, I need to be extra careful taking them off because they are so fragile!! T_T Really fragile, so you need some light hands to take them off the tray.kkkkk~^^
The lower lashes I’m wearing are the Diamond lashes from Japan. This one is in princess eye, I cut it though~^^ kkkkkk~ (errrr..I keep on looking at my photos and I’m very much bothered with my big pores (￣ｗ￣)/ )..
